Cassandra “Kathy” Ventura is living a “normal” life after fleeing the United States with her family following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial.
“Cassie is in great spirits and wants a low-key life away from the spotlight right now,” a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
The “Me & You” singer, 39, “is living a very ‘normal’ life right now, focusing on her family, routine and being here in the moment. It’s been really grounding and healing for her,” the source added.
A source said that Kathy, who has daughters Frankie, 6, and Sunny, 5, and a son, 1, with husband Alex Fine, wants to be a good role model for children, especially girls.
“At the end of the day, her first priority is her children,” a source claimed to Us Weekly.
“She wants to be a strong and healthy role model for them and show them what it’s like to make your own choices, set boundaries, and move forward even after going through a really difficult experience. That’s what’s driving her more than anything right now,” they added.
As Page Six previously reported, Kathy and her family fled the country, according to court documents filed last month.
Last June, male sex worker Clayton Howard filed a $35 million lawsuit against the “Long Way 2 Go” songstress and Combs, 56, accusing the musicians of engaging in sex trafficking and manipulating and exploiting him.
Ms. Howard claimed that Kathy was actively involved in the alleged crime, which she denied.
However, the model fired back in a May 1 statement: “I live outside of the United States. I have no intention of returning to the United States.”
She also stated, “I am a U.S. citizen. I am not a resident of California.”
It is unknown when Kathy and her family moved and where they currently live.
The pop star was one of several people to testify against Combs in his highly publicized sex trafficking trial last year.
In her testimony, Cathy claimed that the Rebellion co-founder raped and abused her and forced a male escort to urinate in her mouth during a “freak-off” party.
Combs was acquitted of the more serious charges, but was convicted of two counts of prostitution.
The “Last Night” host was sentenced to four years and two months in prison. Page Six exclusively reported that he is scheduled to be released in April 2028.
