Culture’s biggest night is back.
The BET Awards, which honor the best of Black music, television, film and sports from the past year, will be held tonight, June 28th. Comedian Dolsky will host the awards ceremony for the first time.
This year, Cardi B leads six out of all nominees. Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist aren’t far behind, with five nominations each.

In addition to the 21 awards being handed out tonight, record company executive Sylvia Rhone will be presented with the Ultimate Icon Award. Two new awards will also be presented. The first Icon of the Year was Teyana Taylor. The first Living Legend Icon Award recipient is Lauryn Hill.
The main show will also feature performances from Cardi B, Doechii, Doja Cat, Common, Nas, Queen Latifah, Raye, Rick Ross, T.I., and more.
