“House of Ashur” has been added to Series Fest

A screening of Netflix’s Lord of the Flies, an innovation talk with NBCUniversal Entertainment Chief Business Officer Liz Jenkins, and a panel discussion with NBC drama writers are among the additional programming Series Fest has announced for its 12th season. The festival will be held from May 6th to 10th at the Sie FilmCenter in Denver.

The newly announced program will also include a screening and Q&A of the drama series “Spartacus: House of Asur.” A trailer for Little House on the Prairie followed by a conversation with the series’ creator. There will also be a screening of the first episode of “The Womb Room” with a panel discussion with director Nicole Treston Abranian, producer Zari Wossen, and lead actresses and co-creators Liz Zagone and Kelsey McDonald.

SeriesFest attendees will also have the opportunity to attend the Pitch-A-Thon roadshow showcase and participate in a Q&A with six 2026 College Television Awards winners. Next50 and SAG-AFTRA collaborated on a panel titled “Experiences on Screen: Career Longevity in Today’s Industry” featuring Graham McTavish (“Outlander,” “Spartacus: House of Assur,” “The Hobbit”) and other screen legends.

“This season’s programming lineup includes outstanding talent and projects that build excitement and spark conversation through storytelling,” SeriesFest co-founders Randy Kleiner and Kylie Smith said in a joint statement. “We are also excited to partner with the Television Academy Foundation, Next50 and SAG-AFTRA on an event that highlights creative voices and important issues in today’s television world.”

Previously announced panels include Netflix’s “The Four Seasons,” Peacock’s “Ponies” and Hulu’s “The Testes,” as well as numerous industry-focused conversations such as microdramas, faith-based programming and the state of independent TV.
