Eva Longoria passed her ex-husband Tony Parker and happily posed for a commemorative snapshot despite their checkered past.
In a photo shared to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Longoria was seen taking a group photo in her kitchen when Parker stopped by to say hello.
The two ex-girlfriends were smiling happily as they posed for photos with Global Gift Foundation co-founders Maria Bravo and Alina Peralta. The three women wore aprons and hoodies covered in blue sweat from head to toe.
Longoria wrote above the photo, “Look who came to visit…the one and only TP! 🎉@tonyparker09.”
After the snapshot went viral on social media, fans expressed disbelief at the ex-lovers’ friendly reunion.
“I can’t believe this photo is real. Guys, time is a really powerful thing. It heals all kinds of wounds. #EvaLongoria #TonyParker,” one person wrote via X, while another said: “They seem to be on great terms.”
Representatives for Mr. Longoria and Mr. Parker did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment Tuesday afternoon.
The Young and the Restless star, 51, and the former NBA star, 44, married in 2007 and separated in 2010. Their messy divorce, interrupted by cheating allegations against the athlete, was finalized in 2011.
Longoria ended their relationship after finding sexually explicit text messages to another woman on Parker’s phone.
Longoria, a San Antonio Spurs alumnus, claimed he had an affair early in their marriage and repeatedly had inappropriate contact with other women on social media.
Longoria confessed that she lost confidence in herself after their dramatic breakup.
“I mean, there was a moment where I was like, ‘Am I not sexy enough? Am I not pretty enough? Am I not smart enough?'” she said on a 2012 episode of “Conversations with Amanda de Cadenet.”
“But for a lot of those questions, I immediately stop and say, ‘No, don’t start doing that,’ because you can get stuck in that cycle.”
Reports at the time suggested that Erin Barry, the wife of Parker’s former Spurs teammate Brent Barry, was the woman involved, but both parties denied having an affair.
Longoria, who declined to give her name during the interview, said she realized her ex-husband’s actions were “definitely not about me.”
“Society usually thinks there’s something wrong with women: ‘Oh, he cheated on her, so she must not have been satisfying him sexually. She must have been ball-and-chain!'” she said at the time.
“Why did he have to have a reason to cheat related to me? … I’m so confident in who I am, really me! And I’m not vain. I just think, ‘Wow, okay, that’s the life you want to live.'”
Parker, on the other hand, has said little about the matter, telling France’s Le Parisien newspaper in 2011, “I escape into basketball, because that’s what I’ve worked hard for since I was young,” People reported.
He added at the time, “The most important thing is to remain mentally strong, even in very difficult times.”
Mr. Parker and Mr. Longoria then left.
Longoria married Mexican businessman Jose “Pepe” Bastón in 2016 and gave birth to their son, Santiago, in June 2018.
Meanwhile, Parker married French journalist Axel Francine in 2014 and they have two sons, Josh, 12, and Liam, nine.
Francine and Parker announced their split in 2020.
