On Saturday, Kate appeared at Wimbledon, fulfilling her duties as a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and as a tennis fan. Traditionally, the Princess of Wales acts as patron and hands out awards to the winners and runners-up.
For the women’s singles final at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Kate wore a bright red Roland Mouret dress with a wrapped bodice, peplum hem, belt at the waist and an ankle-length skirt. She accessorized with nude heels and a matching cream handbag, as well as a pendant necklace and gold earrings. She wore her hair swept back from her face and a natural makeup palette.
The princess waved to the crowd from the Royal Box and was joined by her mother Carole Middleton. Her brother, James Middleton, also attended, along with his wife, Alizee Thevenet.
Duchess Kate was appointed patron of the club by Queen Elizabeth II in 2016. She attended consistently until she was diagnosed and treated for cancer in 2024 and subsequently reduced her royal duties. In January 2025, she said she was in remission. This will be the first time since 2023 that Kate will attend not only the Wimbledon final, but also the rounds before it.
On July 2nd, she wore a sky blue pantsuit over a white T-shirt for the fourth day. She wore taupe point-toe shoes and gold hoop earrings, and had her hair tied up in a ponytail.
