Charli XCX and husband George Daniel were among the guests in attendance. Charlie chose a sleeveless black dress for the first event. Grace Gummer, who wore a black lace dress, was also in attendance, while Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend and co-star in Turner’s The Last Word, Joe Alwyn, appeared nearby in blue. Gummer’s husband, music producer Mark Ronson, was also photographed at the event. Singer Troye Sivan was also spotted as part of the group.
Ripa and Turner legally married in London last weekend in a City Hall ceremony. They confirmed the news on Instagram, with Ripa sharing a photo from their big day.
A source told People that Ripa and Turner’s public ceremony was “exactly what they wanted. It was intimate and meaningful, and they were surrounded by their loved ones.”
The source added, “They held a small celebration after the ceremony and are very excited for what’s to come.” Referring to their plans for a wedding in Sicily this weekend, a source added, “They will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. They will spend some private time together and have a grand celebration with family and friends in Italy.”
Guests began arriving for Ripa’s wedding yesterday, and Getty reports that the celebrations will be held at multiple locations in Palermo and at Villa Valgualnera in Bagheria from June 5th to 7th.
