Denise Richards has shared footage from Patrick Muldoon’s final film as the latest tribute to the actor, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 57.
The “RHOBH” alum posted a clip of her new crime thriller “Dirty Hands” on Instagram on Thursday, revealing that the two will be doing press together this week.
Richards, 55, wrote of Muldoon: “He was very passionate about this movie and worked very hard on it.” “He was personally close to many of the parties.”
Richards referenced the 1997 film Starship Troopers, which marked the first time the former lovers made a movie together, and said how “blessed and grateful” they were to have worked together on their final film.
“I’m still shocked and devastated, but I wanted to share this clip,” Richards added. “I know he wants everyone to see the movie.”
The new film was written and directed by Muldoon’s “dear friend” Kevin Interdonato and produced by his friend Guy Narduri. The two also appear in the film, along with Richards and Muldoon.
“He was so proud of this movie 🙏💔✨,” Richards concluded.
Laura Sheen, her daughter with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, commented: “Oh mom, I love you so much. I’m so sorry. I’m rooting for you from heaven ❤️.”
Muldoon passed away last weekend from a sudden heart attack.
His partner, Miriam Rothbart, found him unconscious on the bathroom floor of their Beverly Hills home. He was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics were called.
Richards and Muldoon dated for nearly five years in the late ’90s. They remained close until Muldoon’s death.
A few weeks before Muldoon died, he reunited with Richards at the 2026 Saturn Awards in Los Angeles.
In her first social media tribute to Muldoon, Ms Richards said she was “deeply saddened and devastated” to learn of his death.
“Everything you did was contagious: your laughter, your kindness, your wit, your strength, your loyalty, your passion, and your zest for life,” she wrote. “We were irreplaceable to each other. The memories we had together are endless.”
The reality star, who is currently going through a tumultuous divorce from Aaron Phypers, also said she needs Muldoon “now more than ever.”
Laura, 20, also paid tribute to Muldoon on Instagram earlier this week, thanking him for being her mother’s “best friend”.
“You all came as a package and I am so grateful to have gotten to know you and witness such a genuine and special friendship,” she said.
