In the Best TV Drama award, last year’s winner “The Pit” will compete against “Heated Rivals,” as well as “Pluribus,” “Industry,” and “The Gilded Age.” In comedy, “The Hux” will face off against “The Comeback,” “Widow’s Bay” and defending winner “Abbott Elementary.”
In the limited series, “Half Man” will compete against “Beef,” “DTF St. Louis,” “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette,” and “All Her Faults.”
“Ultimately, the Dorian TV Awards are about queer critics collectively deciding what television does right. The shows that led this year’s nominations, ‘Heat Rivalry,’ ‘Hacks,’ ‘Pluribus,’ and ‘Half Man,’ are not just great television, they’re inherently queer,” said Gerrick Kennedy, vice president of GALECA. “GALECA is proud to recognize these outstanding programs and performances.”
