The TikTok trend of “Ring By Spring” (girls hoping to get engaged before they graduate college) is coming to fruition with Hulu’s upcoming dating show “Ring By Spring Break.”
According to the official logline, the series is “a daring date series that drops single Christian college students on a steamy spring break in Cabo. Finding ‘The One’ there is no dream…it’s a deadline. As Faith battles temptation in paradise, will they stay engaged or graduate alone?”
Ring by Spring Break is executive produced by Fremantle natives Jimmy Foxx and Emily Bong. Sam Dean will serve as showrunner.
The streaming service has been leaning heavily into romantic shows lately. In March, “Love Overboard,” hosted by “Bachelorette” star Gabby Windy and produced by Alex Cooper, debuted, following 22 bachelorettes living on a luxury yacht in Malta. Half living in luxury, half working as a sailor, trying to gain access to the top deck.
Last summer, Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe co-hosted “Are You My First?” Hulu is a dating show created by the producers of “Love Island USA” that features virgin cast members looking for love.
Additionally, “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” “Bachelor in Paradise,” “The Golden Bachelor,” and “The Golden Bachelorette” will all be available to stream on Hulu after they air on ABC. The Bachelorette season starring Taylor Frankie Paul has been paused, but it has not yet been announced when the series will return.
“Ring by Spring Break” will be available to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for Bundle subscribers in the US
