Brittany Cartwright has opened up about her romance with publicist Lori Krebs, who previously dated ex Jax Taylor.
“All I want to say about this right now is that as soon as I’m ready, I’ll tell my truth, my truth about this,” the “Valley” star said on Friday’s episode of the “When Reality Hits” podcast.
“Right now, I’m focused on myself and what’s most important in my life, which is my beautiful son,” Cartwright added while speaking with co-star Zach Wickham.
“And for now, I’m just trying to keep the peace between my son and me. I’ll tell (my story) soon.”
Although the “Vanderpump Rules” alum didn’t reveal much, she concluded, “I mean, I think everyone kind of understands what’s going on.”
Cartwright’s reaction comes just days after Taylor was spotted cuddling up to Krebs in a heartwarming photo from their vacation.
Photos obtained by TMZ on Monday showed the pair embracing intimately while swimming in a pool at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The two appeared to be in deep conversation, even as a shirtless Taylor wrapped her arms around Krebs.
A source previously told Cartwright that he found out about the photo shortly before it was released and that he feels more “betrayed” by Krebs than Taylor because “we don’t have high expectations for him at this point.”
“When Jax and Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany decided to believe Lori that nothing was going on,” the source said.
Rumors of a romance first surfaced in February 2024, when Taylor and Krebs posted selfies (including one of them kissing on the cheek) on their respective Instagram stories. Although Blind Item later claimed they had an affair in the bathroom of a bar in Canada, Taylor and Cartwright shut down the speculation on their previously shared podcast at the time.
“(Cartwright) continued to work with (Krebs) and continued to trust her. And could this be Lori’s way of repaying her?”
The source claimed that Ms Krebs has “always inserted herself into moments that should have been about her clients” but has now “crossed a line of no return”.
“At this time, there is no possibility that she will continue to work with us.”
Cartwright, 37, filed for divorce from Taylor, 47, in August 2024, after first announcing their separation in February of the same year. The couple continue to co-parent their 5-year-old son, Cruise, while waiting for their split to finalize.
