Britney Spears was spotted leaving the Paw Works pet store on Friday, days after she reportedly caused a “disruption” at a Los Angeles restaurant.
The 44-year-old “Toxic” singer tried to keep a low profile for the visit in a brown trench coat and sunshades.
At one point, she tried to hide her face behind her coat before jumping into a Mercedes-Benz G Wagon and leaving a store in Thousand Oaks, California.
The outing comes just days after Spears allegedly “raised her voice, screamed, and even barked” during a night out at the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on Wednesday.
Sources tell TMZ that the Grammy winner entered the restaurant with a male and female friend and walked around the restaurant carrying a knife, at one point lighting a cigarette near the door.
Her table “looked like a toddler was there,” one witness claimed.
Before her volatile scene at Blue Dog Tavern, Spears was spotted entering a liquor store with a friend.
Surveillance camera footage showed the singer walking around the store while her friend headed to the refrigerator section. While she continued walking through the store, he picked up a can of drink and walked to the cashier to pay.
After the incident at Blue Dog, Spears’ representatives slammed reports about her actions, claiming that the incident was “completely disproportionate.”
“Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistants and bodyguards. She was just talking about her dog barking at her neighbors,” her rep told Page Six on Thursday.
The attorney also argued that Spears never “endangered anyone with the knife” and that she was using the knife to cut a hamburger.
Spears’ bizarre night out marks the second time the pop star has been spotted in public since leaving rehab after being arrested for drunk driving in March. She was seen for the first time after rehabilitation on April 30th.
The Princess of Pop checked into a rehab facility on April 12 after reportedly receiving support from her sons Jaden James and Sean Preston Federline.
On May 4, Spears’ attorney entered a guilty plea in the DUI case on her behalf after she failed to appear for the court hearing.
The lawyer accepted the “reckless” proposal. This is typical of reckless driving cases involving alcohol or drugs, where the person is a first-time offender, has a low blood alcohol level, and there was no collision or injury.
The judge ordered Spears to complete a one-year informal probation grant and three months of alcohol school.
