“Below Deck: Mediterranean” star Natalia Scudder has spoken out about her harrowing experience being held in a detention center and deported from the United States.
The Australian actress, who appeared as a stewardess on seasons seven and eight of reality show Bravo, recently claimed she spent a day in “uncomfortable” accommodations while attempting to land at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
“I was basically pulled from what was like this main waiting room to backstage at the airport,” she told TMZ, saying she was taken to the detention center because “a guy was taking longer than usual” in the immigration line.
Here she was allegedly informed that in 2024 she had been taking photos “on American soil” and making money from them, meaning she was “working illegally on the wrong visa.”
Scudder was then taken to a holding room, where he said he saw a “dirty blanket on the floor” and “stains all over the walls.”
The reality star recalled being the “only girl” there, having a “shared loofah” shower, no towels, and being told by a police officer to dry herself with her dirty clothes before putting them back on.
Scudder said she asked for a blanket because it was “cold,” but was told “this is not the Beverly Hills Hotel.”
This was to be her home for “one to five days,” she claimed.
Additionally, the OnlyFans creator said that when she was detained, officers took her iPhone and “searched everything thoroughly.”
“What you think you’ve deleted on your iPhone hasn’t been deleted,” she said, claiming authorities looked at her ChatGPT history, text messages, notes, and “anything you’ve screenshotted, taken pictures of, Googled.”
“It’s really embarrassing when people come out of this room and look at you and just stare at you and laugh,” she said.
Ms Scudder said she finally fell into a “blast sleep” around 3 a.m., then woke up shaken and told to get up for an “official interview.” There, authorities claimed they had “already decided” to deport her to Australia.
“It was a 17-hour flight there, 30-40 hours between landing and the complete lockdown, and 17 hours to get back,” she said of the nightmare of her trip.
Although Scudder said he still “loves America,” he issued a stern warning to other content creators to be careful to follow the rules of whatever visa they are granted.
