The Devil Wears Prada 2 has arrived in London, the final stop on its whirlwind premiere tour.
So the cast pulled out all the stops when it came to their looks for the UK-based event in Leicester Square.
Hathaway opted for Old Hollywood glamor in a red satin tea-length dress by Louis Vuitton in New York, and today she rocked a risqué, completely sheer corset look by Versace.
The gown is made from deep navy blue velvet and features a strapless neckline and a dropped length.
The top of the luxurious bodice features a lapel on the chest and four oversized buttons down the front, designed to look like a deconstructed tuxedo.
Sheer mesh panels on her sides showed a bit of skin between the corset’s bones.
Hathaway wore her hair in a tight ponytail and showed off her $67,000 Bvlgari diamond and emerald Serpenti earrings, but left her neck bare.
The actress posed on the red carpet with the cast and Donatella Versace herself.
And although Versace is no longer the designer of the family’s namesake brand, he remains its chief brand ambassador and friend of Hathaway’s own.
For last Wednesday’s appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Hathaway also opted for a vintage Versace look, wearing a long-sleeve black minidress and sky-high platform heels.
Versace shared a video of the look on Instagram, writing, “@annehathaway… Versace ’91… Yes, that’s right. 🖤,” in reference to the famous line from “The Devil Wears Prada.”
In keeping with the way she dresses for the press tour, we can’t help but draw parallels between Hathaway’s power suit-inspired gown and the actual power suit that is her first appearance in the sequel.
Hathaway, shown in the film’s first trailer, stands strong in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pinstripe vest and pants, buttoned up.
Hathaway’s co-stars also stole the spotlight in London, where Emily Blunt opted for a Balenciaga pants and top set in the film’s signature red hue and $1 million worth of Mikimoto diamond and pearl jewelry.
Meryl Streep also stuck to her color palette with her black pants, white shirt, red satin coat and pumps. All from Prada.
