Amanda Batula told West Wilson to check out Summer House months before they confirmed their relationship.
In Tuesday night’s episode, which was filmed last summer, Batula flirted with Wilson while Wilson was flirting with another girl in front of his ex-girlfriend and her best friend, Ciara Miller, at her Hamptons home.
When Mr Batula, 34, saw Mr Wilson, 31, and the girl on a daybed by the pool, he became upset and ran over to sit with them.
“What are you doing? Can I go for a hug? Am I going to crash your party?” Batula asked them when Wilson invited her to join them.
Ms. Wilson then played with Ms. Batula’s hair, and later that night, Ms. Batula asked guests to watch her then-husband, DJ Kyle Cooke.
Batula got up and told Wilson, “I have to go. Watch your butt when you leave.”
Later, after Mr Wilson’s guests left the party, Mr Batula accused the sports journalist of having an affair with the woman in front of Mr Miller, 30.
“You’ve gotten too comfortable on probation,” she told Wilson, who complained that he felt like he hadn’t done anything right in Miller’s eyes since their split in 2023.
Wilson said, “For all I know, Ciara may be dating someone right now, but I feel like she just cheated on her wife.”
Batula then said to Wilson, “You guys have made progress. So my question is, why did you decide to have this girl sit on your lap the whole time and make out with you at this small, intimate party?”
But Mr Cook, 43, interjected and defended Mr Wilson, leading to an altercation with Mr Batula.
Before the conversation ended, Batula reiterated to Wilson that he needed to “respect” Miller if he wanted her back.
At the end of the episode, Miller cried to Batula and Mia Calabrese about Wilson kissing another girl in front of them.
“Honestly, I know I had a gut feeling as to why I didn’t want to be friends with him, and that’s why,” the model explained. “There’s a reason I don’t trust him. He can’t be a friend to me.”
On March 31, Batula and Wilson shocked “Summer House” fans by confirming their relationship in a joint statement on Instagram.
The two said they “never intended to intentionally hide” their relationship.
“We … recognize that this has an impact beyond just us, and we never wanted our actions to seem hurtful or careless,” they added, apparently referring to how their connection affected Miller.
According to TMZ, Miller learned of the romance between his ex-girlfriend and ex-best friend through an intimate video.
Miller has since shared cryptic social media uploads about the value of “loyalty” and “sisterhood” without directly addressing the scandal.
Meanwhile, Batula and Wilson were out together in New York City this weekend, going on a double date at a bar on Friday night and enjoying a movie date night on Sunday.
Earlier on Friday, Batula told her Instagram followers that she was ready to “start life again” after the relationship was revealed.
She also promised to “answer any questions” at the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion, which is scheduled to film later this month.
