Amanda Batula mocked Ciara Miller’s harsh comments about her romance with West Wilson during Part 1 of the ‘Summer House’ Season 10 reunion.
In the first minutes of the much-anticipated rally, which was recorded on April 23 and aired on Tuesday, Batula explained that she was looking forward to clearing up any confusion about her and Wilson.
“I’m ready to admit what I did, take responsibility, and especially apologize to Ciara and Kyle. And I just need to be able to explain to my face what happened and where I’m coming from,” Batula explained to host Andy Cohen.
Miller didn’t seem to take Batula’s words to heart, saying in a whisper, “I’m glad you said our names this time.”
The jab was in reference to a joint statement in which Batula and Wilson admitted to having had a secret romance behind their castmates’ backs. (Notably, the statement did not include an apology to Miller or Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cook.)
Mr. Batula was clearly surprised by Mr. Miller’s reaction and asked, “What?”
Ms. Miller bravely repeated her dig, saying, “I’m glad you’re mentioning our names this time.” Batura then looked away and scoffed.
Elsewhere in the episode, Miller accused Batula of trying to make plans with Batula before the news broke about Wilson, but not responding. Batula interrupted to defend himself, causing Miller to yell, “Shut up!”
Batula tried to explain that “you can’t help someone you love,” leading Miller to call her a “snake in the grass.”
“You’re moving quietly, but you’re very deadly,” Miller said.
Before the reunion began, Ms. Batula spoke with Ms. Cohen about her feelings in the same dressing room as Ms. Wilson.
“I mean, there’s a lot of guilt,” she admitted to the Bravo honcho. “She’s my friend, and it kills me to think that I was the one who caused her pain.”
Meanwhile, Miller told Cohen before taping that he felt more “betrayed” by Batula than by West.
“I mean, I’m shocked for West, but I’m really hurt for Amanda,” she said.
As previously shown in an explosive trailer for the special, Miller and Batula sat across from each other while being chastised by host Andy Cohen.
The trailer also showed a heated moment in which the model claims her ex Wilson started dating Batula “to be mean” to her.
Fans have been waiting to see how the reunion would unfold since Batula, 34, and Wilson, 31, revealed in March that they had been having a secret romance behind their co-stars’ backs.
Miller, 30, started dating Wilson in 2023, and the two rekindled their romance while filming Season 10 last summer. She also supported Batula through the breakdown of her marriage and subsequent separation from Cook.
Miller initially remained silent about the pair’s shocking comments, but later subtly attacked them on social media.
She finally broke her silence about the scandal in April, calling the whole situation “mindfulness.”
“I never expected that to come from someone like Amanda, who felt that way in my circle and in my corner for a long time,” she told Glamor.
“I defended you,” Bravery said of Batula. “I have tried in many ways to be there for you, to help you, to help you understand your own worth, so to be ignored in such a disrespectful way…I am at a loss for words sometimes.”
Miller also said in the interview that she was alerted to the joint statement “about 45 minutes” before it was shared on Instagram.
Notably, Batula and Wilson avoided mentioning each other’s names, as well as Miller’s, while acknowledging their secret relationship.
“I felt there was something very telling about not being able to say each other’s names in the statement, but I don’t know,” Miller said.
Days before Part 1 of the reunion aired, Ms. Miller made it clear she had no interest in reconciling with her former friend.
When asked in a recent interview with People magazine if she and Batula were “dunzo,” Miller bitterly replied, “Oh, sure…I couldn’t do this to my worst enemy.”
“Summer House” Season 10 Reunion Part 2 will air on Bravo on June 2nd at 8pm ET.
