Alix Earle cried in public and even left an event in the middle of a recent conflict with ex-girlfriend Braxton Berrios.
“Obviously, I met my ex tonight,” the influencer began in a new TikTok video posted on Monday, after the pair attended the Ships Margs party at Miami’s Palm Tree Club on Sunday night. “But we were good friends, so it was normal and fine and we joked around with each other.”
As an example, Earl explained that while they were taking pictures of each other, at one point she playfully “pushed him out of the way” to take a solo shot.
“It was interesting and fun, but then not so much,” she admitted. “Because then I looked around the place all night and was like, ‘Hmm, where is he?’
“I think it was really bad, just realizing I was doing that,” she said as she removed her makeup.
“It’s hard to meet someone for a second, but it’s fun and normal. But it’s just a smoke, and that’s it. That’s when it started hitting me.”
Earle then admitted that she started crying during the event, which her friends warned her about.
“Sometimes there’s nothing you can do about it. Sometimes you’re just a girl, and sometimes water falls from your eyes,” she told fans. “It happens sometimes, but that’s okay.”
At that point, the “Dancing with the Stars” alum recalled that she had “acted responsibly” by calling a car home and “crying to[her]dog” when she arrived.
The social media star insisted she was “okay” now, but wanted to use the app to be vulnerable in case any of her followers found themselves in a similar situation.
As previously reported, Earl, 25, and Berrios, 30, broke up in December of last year after two years of dating. A source told Page Six at the time that it was mutual and “distance induced.”
A month later, rumors of a romance with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Tom Brady sparked after a spy exclusively told Page Six that the two got close at a yacht party in St. Barts.
A source exclusively told Us in February that the two were enjoying a “fun” but “not very serious” affair, but noted it was more than just a casual relationship.
That same month, the two shared a loving moment at a private Super Bowl party. A video of the pair showed Brady putting his arm around Earle and grabbing her butt.
But in March, Earl posted a TikTok video crying over Berrios after seeing the wide receiver for the first time since their breakup.
In the video, she admitted that meeting him in person was “really hard” and “really weird.”
“The first night, I was really emotional. We were in the same place and we didn’t even say ‘hello’ to each other. I just didn’t want me to go up and embarrass him, so I don’t know,” she explained.
“It’s weird to go from being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner. So it was tough. And when I say tough, I mean terrible.”
Around the same time, Brady was spotted leaving Tony Gonzalez’s birthday party with Scooter Braun’s ex-wife Yael Cohen Braun after hanging out all night, sparking dating rumors.
Earl and Berrios had another “friendly” reunion earlier this month when they attended the same star-studded party ahead of the F1 Miami Grand Prix.
“The atmosphere was very friendly,” a spy told us. “They spoke briefly, but both were just doing their own thing.”
Last month, Berrios was spotted with model Holly Ford at Bird Street Club in Los Angeles. The Houston Texans star and the model were photographed leaving a private members-only restaurant and heading to Berrios’ car together.
