Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan put up a united front on the red carpet at the 2026 YouTube Upfront as they reportedly dealt with “tensions” in their marriage.
The “Call Her Daddy” host and film producer appeared in good spirits Wednesday as they posed for photographers at a New York City-based event.
Mr. Kaplan, wearing a black sweater and pants, smiled broadly as he put his hand on his wife’s waist.
Cooper, 31, was wearing a black blazer and black pants.
Couples were also seen heading to the venue holding hands.
Ahead of the star-studded event, the streaming platform announced a series of new shows featuring Cooper and produced by her production company, Unwell Productions.
According to Variety, Cooper will host the new installment of the “Unwell Games” competition series, which is expected to premiere in late summer or fall.
The competition show takes viewers through a series of contestants living under one roof and facing a series of challenges.
In addition, Cooper will host a two-part miniseries titled “Pot Stirrer,” which will revolve around her hosting a Thanksgiving dinner with a group of reality stars and internet personalities, and hosting two secret “pot stirrers” who attempt to sabotage the evening. The project will premiere over Thanksgiving weekend.
Cooper’s Unwell Productions will also release “Holiday Hard Launch,” a microdrama about two strangers who form a fake relationship, in winter 2026, and “Before the Steps,” a documentary about the pressures celebrities face in preparation for the Met Gala, in spring 2027.
Wednesday was a big day for Cooper and Kaplan, 42, who has been on the front lines of support for Cooper following reports that they were sleeping in separate bedrooms.
Sources told the Daily Mail earlier this month that “tension” had been building between the couple even before Kaplan was accused of blowing up the Unwell Network, Bloomberg reported.
The couple, who married in April 2024, have not said anything about the allegations against them.
Apart from the marriage rumors, Cooper has been in the media due to his ongoing feud with Alix Earle, who used to work for the Unwell Network.
Fans are waiting for Earl to speak out about the duo’s relationship after Cooper criticized Earl’s “passive-aggressive” behavior and encouraged him to share the drama.
It’s unclear when Earle will fully address the controversy, as he recently dodged questions about the matter in an interview with “Today” Tuesday morning.
Earl called the feud “overblown” and assured All America that he “loves you all.”
