Nate Bargatze has opened Emmy, dressed with television inventor Philo T. Farnsworth. Bit, a set of the last 100 years, was a play from Bargatze’s famous “SNL” sketch, “Washington’s Dream,” as comedians enjoyed the absurdity of modern television landscapes.
Just as Yang, Day and Johnson tinkered with TV prototypes, Bargatze said, “Don’t be discouraged. What we create here will one day show a world where we will inform and educate.
Then, nodded to the most prestigious show of the year, “Severance,” added Bargatze.
“One day, I dream of having a channel for all interests. Travel channels, channels for travel. Food networks, food and history channels,” Balgatse said.
“For history!” Before Balgatze corrected him, Day said: “No! For the aliens.”
The host then stated that he would not learn on the learning channel (aka TLC). Instead: “Hoarding. Someone who eats couch cushions. “Dr. Pimple Popper.” All of our fun things. ”
Bargatze also imagined the future with a TV channel for everyone. “Telemundo-like networks for Spanish speakers.
What about the channel for white people? “Why, CBS, of course!” said Bargatze, referring to the network that airs Emmy. “Yes, the white broadcasting system!”
Bargatze was fun on other aspects of television too. When asked who will become the star of a streaming show, Balgazze said, “Murderers. Real-life killers, almost.” And who will see a show about murderers for entertainment? “Your wife, my wife, everyone’s wife.”
As many have had for many years, Bargatze was also stacked up on certain shows to submit as a comedy series. “There are awards for all kinds of shows, a look that holds a drama like ‘Pit’ and shows the emotional sacrifice of trauma,” he said. “And it’s a heartbreaking view of the emotional sacrifice of trauma, with a ‘bear’-like laughter. ”
After the sketch, Bargatze returned to the stage for a very short monologue. In it, he announced that he would donate $100,000 to the Boys and Girls Club in America. He then placed the ticker on the Jumbotron and introduced a cruel new rule related to victory speech. $1,000 will be deducted from the donation for every second that the Emmy winner continues to talk to. But don’t be afraid: the winner who holds the speech within 45 seconds can return the money.
“But don’t get carried away. I’m paying for this, so don’t. (It’s amazing that the comedian actually made his donation under $100,000 at the end of the night).
Bargatze is best known for his clean and often condemning comedy, entertaining in everyday situations and his own ignorant situations. The Nashville-based comic has held two “SNL” and has hosted the best comedy tour of 2024. His latest special, “Your Friend, Nate Bargatze,” debuted on Netflix in 2024, and will perform with Danragana in the comedy film “The Budwinner.” Bargatze also published a memoir, “Big Dumb Eyes” earlier this year, and along with his company Nateland, he hopes to create the next Disney-sized entertainment universe.
