Scott Wolf and his estranged wife, Kelly Wolf, appeared in court a few days after their arrest.
According to court minutes obtained by US Weekly, “57” actors and 48-year-old Kelly appeared before a Utah judge on Wednesday for a hearing on Scott’s claim for protection order.
Scott’s lawyer, Bert Johnson, was also present, but the judge refused to govern the issue of the full restraining order, as there were no lawyers present in Kelly.
According to the outlet, Kelly was ordered to “send a letter to the court indicating that they are representing it.” Scott then “is instructed to send the court directly to that lawyer.”
The judge in the case added that certain conditions of the previous temporary protection order filed by Scott on August 26 after his estranged wife was arrested for leaking her phone number via Instagram, are “still the same.”
According to an order on August 28th, Kelly was barred from contacting Scott or her children – Jackson, 16, and Miller, 12, must be at least 300 feet away from her ex-husband.
However, people’s sources say that in accordance with the child’s greatest benefits, previous spouses are allowed to respond by phone. The outlet sources argued that neither Scott nor Kelly were “necessary” to respond to each other’s attempts to communicate, especially if the “problem” arises in division and court proceedings.
People reported that the next hearing date will be October 26th. At that point, Kelly must have held an attorney to represent her. Scott and Kelly officials did not immediately return a page 6 request for comments regarding court appearances.
The latest development will take place a few days after Kelly checks in at the rehabilitation centre and then checks out on Tuesday two days later. Kelly confirmed that he left the facility on Page 6 that day, adding that he plans to stay at a hotel in Arizona and check in to another Utah facility in November.
She also said she needed help with post-traumatic stress disorder (commonly known as PTSD) rather than treating addiction issues.
Scott was granted only temporary custody on August 26 after his marginalized wife was arrested and subsequently charged with two misdemeanor e-disclosures of personal identification information and two misdemeanor e-disclosures of electronic communications harassment of one misdemeanor.
The charges followed a public social media blitz, sharing apparent private texts and Scott’s personal phone number with one of her children.
Kelly appeared before the judge on September 2, where she said she would check in for rehabilitation “a month,” claiming she was “looking forward to” the experience. “My brother is taking me with him. It’s great. It’s a great place,” she told the judge. “I’ve always recommended myself as a mental health expert.”
At the time, she was ordered to refrain from alcohol or drugs or other controlled substances unless prescribed by a licensed practitioner and not attempting to contact potential witnesses in the case.
The duo got married in 2004 and later welcomed three children. Scott filed for divorce in June. Kelly was then placed on two unwilling holds in Utah, one of which was in custody on a live Instagram stream.
The actor accused him of accusing his estranged wife of claims of “intrusive falsehood,” but initially applied for a restraining order in July, but later demanded that it be dissolved. After she was released from prison on August 28th, Kelly was later launched from Airbnb, which was rented on September 1st, allegedly past her time.
