Robin Wright has a new country to call home.
In a new interview with The Times, released Sunday, August 31, the actress, 59, shared that she and her boyfriend, architect Henry Smith, are renting a house on the UK seaside.
“It’s liberating to do it,” Wright told the outlet. “You’ll end by searching, looking and getting 60% of what you wanted.”
Born in Texas and raised in California, the House of Card alum wanted to get out of the US and was honest in telling the newspaper, “America is an S—-show.”
“I love being in this country,” she added England. “There’s self-liberation here. People are very kind. They’re alive. They’re not in the car, they panic on the phone, they eat sandwiches. That’s most of America. It’s all rush, competition, speed.”

According to Forest Gumpster, her move decision was partially affected by the effects of Los Angeles noise.
“Everyone is building a huge house. I’ve finished it all – I love quiet people, and I met my people. Finally,” she added, referring to Smith, 52.
Wright recalls meeting her current boyfriend and jokes that when they first crossed the road, there are some choice words for each other.
According to the model, she was sitting in the pub at the time and asked the man if he could feed the dog when the man turned his attention to her now boyfriend.
“He goes, ‘No, it’s his dog, not my dog,” she recalled their first meeting.

“Henry was standing at the bar, 6’2,” and he put down his pint and came over to me and grabbed my shoulder,” the actress here recalled. “He said, ‘Who are you?’ And I said, ‘Who are you?’ And that was it. ”
“He’s a lover, just right, a decent adult. He’s a guy,” she continued Smith.
According to the Times, Wright said that “beloved to see who I am” is “very relaxed.” After starting a relationship with Smith.

“That’s exactly what I wanted,” she shared. “I’m 60 years old and ‘Is this?’ I love being alone and I’ve done it many times. ”
The Princess Bride actress was previously married to Sean Penn from 1996 to 2010. The former couple shares two children.
Wright filed for divorce from a fashion executive in the summer of 2022 after marrying Clement Gilaudette in 2018, citing irreconcilable differences. She also briefly married the late Santa Barbara actor Dane Witherspoon from 1986 until her divorce two years later.
