Gird Your Loins: Filming for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is officially underway in New York, and the sequel looks as much like a fashion east feast as the 2006 original.
The second flick set to hit the theatre on May 1, 2026 – again directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna – introduces the roles of Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, including Andy, Miranda, Emily, Nigel and more. Several newcomers will also be featured, including Justin Therow, Kenneth Branagh, Rachel Bloom and Simone Ashley.
And while iconic costume designer Patricia Field hasn’t returned to style the sequel, she handed the torch to Protegome Rogers. She is working on the original “Devilware Prada” and “Sex and the City.”
