Meghan Markle went through a nasty exchange with guests on season 2 of the Netflix show, “Love, Meghan.”
The Duchess of Sussex shared that he was actually a New York lawyer to teach mixologist Payman Bermani Bailey on her lifestyle show how to make various cocktails.
When Markle stepped in and asked if he had seen her legal drama “Suit,” he laughed and replied, “No, no.”
“I haven’t seen basic cables,” he continued.
Bahmani-Bailey further said, “I like shows with cursed words and things.”
Markle said, “Amazing, I love it!”
Markle, 44, played Rachel Zane in “Suits” for the USA Network from 2011 to 2018. The show experienced a popular revival in 2023, released on Netflix in 2023, and has become one of the most viewed shows on the streaming giant.
Season 2 of “Love, Meghan” has received brutal reviews, but the two’s mothers have recently returned to hating. She speculated that people who criticize the show might actually like it.
“Do you think that often negative voices are saying negative things and secretly go home and make spaghetti with a single skillet?”
“That’s fine. They’re trying to pay their bills. That’s what they sort out if they’re comfortable doing it at someone else’s disadvantage,” she added.
Page 6 reported earlier this month that Markle and her husband Prince Harry extended their Netflix partnership, but their new deals are “far less” than their previous “$100 million deal” with streaming companies.
“That’s not that much,” the insider told Page 6. “There’s no risk for Netflix, but it saves both of the reputation.”
Under the New Deal, couples still need to execute their ideas by Netflix. From there, the streaming service decides whether or not you want to acquire project rights for the duo’s pitch.
