This year’s annual evening from Hart La Gala, celebrating John Ritter’s legacy and the John Ritter Foundation’s ongoing work for aortic health, features a one-night, staged live celebrities read from “Three Companies.” Pluto TV, a free streaming service, is set up as an exclusive media partner and hosts on-demand releases. The gala is set for September 12th in the Sunset Room in Hollywood.

The reading is from “To Pot,” a classic season seven episode of “Three’s Company,” which aired in 1983. The performance features Kaley Cuoco, Adam Devine and Jason Alexander, and recreates the roles of former cast members Priscilla Barnes and Richard Kline as Terry Alden and Larry Dallas. Directed by filmmaker Dennis Dugan, with stage instructions read by Tom Bergeron.

For a long time, featuring a linear channel dedicated to “Three’s Company” 24/7 episodes, Pluto TV will air a curated marathon of Ritter’s Honor’s “Three’s Company” episode.

The gala raises awareness and funds for aortic health research and patient support, celebrates Ritter’s legacy and attracts supporters, doctors and supporters.

“The event celebrates the community that grew around John’s life and his memory,” said Amy Yasbeck, founder of the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health. “We are grateful to Pluto TV for expanding the scope of this performance and expanding its mission to save lives through consciousness and research.”

Ritter, who appeared in 172 episodes of “Threes Company” from 1977 to 1984, passed away in September 2003. He was filming “8 Simple Rules” at the time of his death, along with Kuoko, a regular in the comedy who plays his daughter.

Tickets for the Gala are sold out, but fans can stream live leads online via the John Ritter Foundation website. It will only be available on Pluto TV at a later date.

“Classic TV is the top performance category for Pluto TV, and consistently drives the best engagement across the platform,” said Amy Kuessner, EVP of programming at Pluto TV. “This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to celebrating iconic television while supporting meaningful causes. We are honored to bring this performance to our audience everywhere and continue to share John Ritter’s legacy with a new generation.”
