Coach Isabel Sheeb signed Verve for the representative, Variety learned exclusively. Sheeve continues to be represented by untitled entertainment and Curtis Brown UK.
The signing news came less than a week after the release of the British Netflix series “Hostage,” and Sieb directed three of the five episodes, including the first episode.
Other TV directorial credits for Sieb include the action-adventure series “Nautilus,” starring Shazad Latif. The show premiered in the US in June 2025 and in the UK in August 2024. Sieb also directed episodes of “Vigil” by BBC One and Peacock, “The Devil’s Hour” by Prime Video, and “The Athena” by Sky.
Sheeb has also directed several critically assumed short films, including “Three Women Waiting for Death.” She is currently developing the feature in BFI, inspired by the true story of a women’s factory in Cascade, Tasmania.
“Horstage” debuted on Netflix on August 21, quickly climbing the top 10 charts, following only season 2 of “Wednesday” on the week of August 18-24. The political thriller series was created by Matt Charman. The British Prime Minister and French President will star Surunne Jones and Julie Delpie. Both face impossible choices when their husbands are lured and others are under deadly threats.
In his review of variety, Aramid Tinubu wrote: “At a melodramatic side and a fast pace, political thrillers are a puzzle of complex forces, ruthlessness and unimaginable options,” he writes.
