CBS news reporters were briefly stumbling while on camera in connection with Swift-related reactions, after learning about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse’s engagement.
Olivia Rinaldi was standing outside the White House on Tuesday, August 26th when the announcement was broken.
Her mouth opened in the news.
“She just posted it – Ah, what a god, oh my god… I feel like Paul is paying respects right now,” she joked as she first shared the update with her team and then CBS viewers.

“This is a very exciting moment in my professional career as we announce that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged,” she aired with Anker laughing.
Clips of moments shared by CBS on social media have already been seen hundreds of thousands of times.
Her response came shortly after the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared happy news on Instagram in a joint post captioned, “Your English teacher and gym teacher are married.”
