Cardi B is clapping back at fans who want her to stay single after her split from Stefon Diggs.
“I’ve seen some suggestions like, ‘I want her to be single, I want her to focus on herself,'” she said Wednesday, according to a recording posted on X.
“I was single the entire tour,” the rapper claimed. “I’m single, I don’t talk to anyone, I don’t entertain anyone, I don’t do anything.”
Now, the 33-year-old said, she’s “going out, chilling with friends, going on vacation, drinking, having fun, having balls.”
“But even me and my friends, when we have a ball, we need entertainment, because at the end of the day, we need entertainment.”
Cardi admitted she should be “a little more exclusive” with the men she meets, but doesn’t apologize for dating other people.
“Couldn’t you have chosen a better man? Maybe. Maybe. So anything goes,” she confessed.
“I know you guys expect me to be single. I’m not going to be single forever. I need to be entertained. Life is cool. Life is everything. But it’s just like, okay, men need love too,” she concluded.
Her passionate rant comes weeks after she sparked dating rumors with Nigerian soccer player Maduka Okoye. The two were spotted making out at Jean Paul Gaultier’s haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.
On Monday, Page Six reported that the two were spotted dining in Italy.
According to a video obtained by TMZ, Okoye and Cardi (real name Belcalis Almanzar) grabbed a bite to eat with a group of other men at Gio’s Restaurant in the St. Regis.
But just when it seemed like the relationship between Cardi and the athlete was heating up, Cardi’s ex Jelicia Westhoff accused Cardi of being an incompetent father to their 3-year-old son, Isaiah Emil Jr. Okoye.
“Imagine if I kept my mouth shut. I lied about what you did to me so you could continue your career and all you do is embarrass America,” the model wrote, according to a screenshot shared online, which was later deleted.
Westhoff claimed that Okoye, 26, does not call or see his son because he is “busy punishing his mother and being a bad guy on social media.”
They also alleged that Okoye did not visit her infant when she was hospitalized in December, had affairs with both men and women, and was suspected of physically abusing her.
In an exclusive statement to Page Six, Westhoff said he has “nothing against” Cardi.
“(It’s) dating other women in public knowing that you’re not taking care of your children,” she told us.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker’s last public relationship was with Diggs.
The couple, who have dated on and off, debuted their romance in May 2025, shortly after Cardi and estranged husband Offset’s separation.
She and the NFL player welcomed a son last November. Diggs has five other children.
The Hustlers actress also has three children with Offset (real name Chiari Cephas).
