Eva Dash appears to be keeping her relationship status under wraps after she was spotted locking lips with Summer House star Kyle Cooke in the Hamptons over the weekend.
“We were having a great time,” the 26-year-old “Next Generation NYC” star explained in an exclusive new interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”
When asked if she was open to experiencing more “fun times” with the 43-year-old DJ, Dash didn’t divulge any further details.
“I’m positive we’re going to have a really great summer and we’re having a really great summer. We just want to enjoy it.”
The PDA-filled outing came as a surprise to many fans, considering Cook had denied being in a relationship with Dash back in March.
However, Dash revealed that the people around her are pretty excited to see where the new romance takes them — well, everyone except her famous father, Damon Dash.
“It’s my dad who’s shipping it so hard without me knowing,” she explained, admitting that she “didn’t warn” him of the potential headlines before the news surfaced.
“So, that’s what he just saw. He sent me (the article) and he said, ‘Are you kidding me?’
Bravolebrity said her father took issue with her “kissing in public,” but she explained that he “didn’t know the full story.”
Although Dash didn’t state her current status with Cooke, she couldn’t help but gush about her friendship with him and the rest of the Summerhouse cast.
“Honestly, me and Kyle and a lot of the people from ‘Summer House’ are in the same friend group now. We’ve all gotten really close,” she said.
“I didn’t expect it, but a lot of my best friends are friends with him and I’m friends with Jesse (Solomon). For example, I went to Coachella with Jesse and Mia (Calabrese), so I really got to know her there. I love their friend group so much.”
Dash added: “I’ve always been friends with people who are a little older than me, so I feel very comfortable around them.”
As Page Six exclusively reported, spies caught Cook and Dash getting very cozy in the VIP section of the Palm Tree Music Festival on the grounds of Shinnecock Nation in Southampton.
“They were hanging out at a table in the VIP section of their sponsor Celsius,” said an eyewitness. “It looked like something romantic was going on from the way they looked at each other. There was definitely a vibe that they were into each other.”
Another source said the two reality stars were “publicly kissing.”
One source said the pair are still in a “very new” phase of “talking and spending time together,” but another source close to Cook (who ended his marriage to Amanda Batula earlier this year) stressed that the pair are not dating.
Cook and Dash were first linked in March when they were spotted holding hands at dinner, but Cook quickly shot down the speculation.
“I’m not dating[Dash]. No, it was a very friendly dinner,” he told host Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” in March.
“I was holding her (her hand) as we held hands during the family blessing at the family dinner.”
