Soap star Colleen Zenk was arrested in May in Naples, Florida, on two misdemeanor DUI charges, according to court records obtained by Page Six.
The 73-year-old actress was taken into custody by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office on May 15 and charged with driving under the influence with damage to property or another person and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of .15 or higher, according to court records.
She posted bond on both charges the next day.
The records also included a photograph of Zenk’s face.
According to an arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, Zenk was reversing out of a disabled parking lot near a Tommy Bahama store when he struck another vehicle and attempted to flee the scene, but was quickly stopped by police.
Witnesses claimed that the “As the World Changes” star was seen staggering as he got out of the car.
A police sergeant who assisted in the arrest claimed that Zenk’s breath smelled like alcohol.
According to the arrest report, Zenk told officers that he had “two glasses of wine” at Bar Tulia before the crash.
She failed field sobriety training and was arrested because she “exhibited multiple signs of impairment, including balance issues, unsteadiness, and difficulty following instructions.”
The “Young and the Restless” alum also provided two breath samples that measured a 0.206 BAC and a 0.192 BAC. Both exceed the legal limit of 0.08.
Zenk was scheduled to appear in court on June 10, but was absent because he applied for an exemption from the mandatory court appearance. Her new court date is scheduled for July 29.
A representative for Zenk told PEOPLE in a statement: “The charges have been defended. Mr. Zenk has not been convicted of any crime. The truth will come out in court.”
