Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex Dakota Mortensen called the Bluffdale, Utah Police Department to clarify the details of a protective order amid a custody battle.
Police confirmed the call to Us Weekly on Monday, saying it discussed the “Mormon Wives” star’s son Ever, 2, with Paul.
Mortensen, 33, asked who could help transport the Ever. The TikToker also wanted to know if the protective order was violated.
Authorities then called Paul, 32, and asked to collect her statement before transferring the case to the district attorney’s office.
It is the prerogative of the Prosecutor’s Office to determine whether a violation has occurred. However, there are currently no ongoing lawsuits against either party.
Page Six has reached out to Paul and Mortensen’s representatives, the Bluffdale Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office.
A source familiar with the matter told Page Six: “Taylor and Dakota have not seen or spoken to each other since the protective order was filed.”
After the incident, the influencer took to Instagram Stories to slam her ex-girlfriend.
“The police were called again this week…what are the odds?” Paul wrote in a since-deleted post, according to TMZ. “And it’s not a person…it’s one person, the same person. It’s obsessive.”
Paul and Mortensen are locked in a bitter custody battle over their son after multiple domestic violence altercations.
The pair first started dating in 2022 and have been the subject of several police investigations over the years.
Mortensen was granted sole custody of Ever in March after claiming that Paul had been physically violent towards her.
A month later, in April, the social media star, who shares eight-year-old daughter Indi and six-year-old son Ocean with ex-husband Tate Paul, was allowed to have chaperoned visits with her toddler.
However, the judge expressed concerns about Paul’s “instability” and limited him to only six hours a week of visiting time until his next court date later that month.
When the former flames returned to court on April 30, they were ordered to stay 100 feet apart from each other under a mutual protection order.
“You all have to think about a lot here. You have to think about how you’re going to function as co-parents,” the judge said during Paul and Mortensen’s court appearance.
At the time, the “Winter Games Unwell” star spoke out about his legal battle, saying his “focus now is on Ever” and “creating a stable and healthy environment for me going forward.”
Earlier this month, the mother of three responded to a fan who wrote, “I’m going through your exact same situation. I wish I could talk to you more about it! I’m so stuck.”
“I don’t know what else to say other than to say I’m with so many of you,” Paul replied on his Instagram Story. “I wish I could be more helpful. I don’t know when my nervous system switched over…I can’t even cry these days, which is so unlike me.”
She added, “You can feel emotionally overwhelmed or numb, both of which are coping mechanisms.”
