Dizzy — Taylor Swift has found a new lucky charm.
The pop star appeared multiple times during productions of Toy Story 5, bringing out the same antique Victorian diamond horseshoe pendant as Sophie Jane Jewels.
Swift, 36, wrote the original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for the Pixar film and as a return to her rural roots. This necklace is a nod to the series’ cowgirl protagonist Jessie and the star’s well-documented love for lucky charms.
She first wore the pendant in April, pairing it with a blue and white Staud dress and yellow Lady Dior bag. The costume was interpreted by fans as a Toy Story easter egg even before the project was confirmed.
At the Los Angeles premiere on June 9th, she reappeared with a patchwork Erdem mini dress as an accent.
Newly released photos show the “Oparite” singer wearing it again at a private radio event, where she met with programmers and industry insiders to toast the single.
For the event in Nashville, the Grammy winner chose a $950 Maren midi dress with a centerfold detail at the chest.
At another venue in Texas, she wore an Escvdo striped crochet maxi dress ($1,350) in a retro “Midnights” color palette of cream, orange and red.
She accessorized both with a Cartier Love Unlimited bracelet ($9,400) and a Kindred Lübeck engagement ring, whose vintage mine-cut diamond echoes the number 15 set in a horseshoe-shaped pendant.
This pendant dates back to the late 1800s and began life as a 14-karat gold and platinum brooch. Sophie Jane then remade the approximately 2-carat piece into a necklace, which was sold to Swift for a final price of $4,485.
In Swift’s relationship with fiancé Travis Kelsey, horseshoes bring both good fortune and history. The NFL tight end picked up a diamond horseshoe necklace inscribed with “Good Luck” for her at the 2024 Kentucky Derby.
With Toy Story 5 in theaters now, the cowgirl style may have come full circle, but a new chapter begins this Friday when Swift marries Kelsey in New York.
