Colin Gosselin said it was “hurt” to watch his sister Hannah mend her relationship with her mother Kate Gosselin.
“I think Hannah is a very sentimental, memorable person in a way, and I think she still wants to have a piece of that family,” Colin said in an interview with the US Sun last year.
“And this is how I look back: During her parents’ divorce, Hannah was always very close to her father,” he added of her father, Jon Gosselin.
“But now that I think about it, I don’t think it was because she was close to her father. I think she just wanted both of her parents in her life. And it makes a lot of sense and it’s literally normal. It’s normal for kids to want that.”
Ex-girlfriends John, 49, and Kate, 51, have eight children – sextuplets Colin, Hannah, Alexis, Leah, Joel and Aiden, all 22, and twins Maddie and Carla, both 25.
Colin and Hannah live with their father and his wife Stephanie Lebo, and the remaining siblings live with their mother.
“I think she wants to mend her relationship with her mom now because she’s with her dad now and she knows that he loves her and that he’s never going to leave her or throw her up on a limb,” Colin claimed in an interview.
“What hurt me about that is that Hannah wants to repair her relationship with her mother. She cares about people and wants to get into that emotional and emotional part,” he revealed.
“For my mom, it’s all over social media. It’s on TikTok and she’s like, ‘Oh, hello, I just talked to Hannah today.'” So for Hannah, it’s a relationship, and for my mom, it’s a PR stunt, and that’s what really hurts me. ”
Page Six reached out to Kate about Colin’s claims, but did not immediately receive a response.
Colin is preparing to publish his shocking memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood.
The author, who has accused Duchess Kate of severe child abuse, child exploitation and emotional abuse, will reveal “the shocking side of a picture-perfect family,” according to the caption. (Kate denied her son’s claims.)
It also promises to share “the never-before-told story of how[Colin]escaped and found his way back from the darkness.”
A source told the Daily Mail that Kate is “rising fast” ahead of the release of her memoir because she “knows she’s going to shock her fans”.
Colin and his family rose to fame after appearing on the TLC reality series ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’, which aired for five seasons from 2007 to 2017.
The former couple finalized their divorce in December 2009 after 10 years of marriage.
