Katie aggressively tried to flirt with multiple male friends in front of her fiancé Josh on Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé.
Josh, 30, moved from the UK to the US to co-star with Katie, 26, on this season of 90 Day Fiancé, but it hasn’t been all smooth sailing. Katie’s obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is mainly blamed on her habit of hanging out with friends after drinking. Katie is now engaged to Josh, but Sunday’s episode revealed she has no intention of changing her ways.
Katie was celebrating her birthday at a bar, but things got awkward when her friend Ryan, with whom she had hooked up many times in the past, showed up. Katie, Josh, and Ryan clashed outside the bar, and Ryan apologized to Josh, saying that Josh and Katie had done something “inappropriate.”
“But Katie is a little hard to say no to,” he pointed out.
Josh accepted the apology. However, Katie said the numerous apologies she had received were starting to become meaningless as she continued to keep in touch with friends after the pair became committed.
“I want to be able to trust who you’re dating,” he told Katie. “I don’t want to control you. I want you to live your life, but I also don’t want you to make stupid decisions.”
Katie claimed that she and Ryan were now “just casual friends”, but later asked Josh, “Do you think you can get along with everyone you know?”
Understandably, Josh didn’t take the joke well.
“We’re getting married soon,” he told the cameras. “And I’m starting to feel in my gut that she might not be ready for that… She doesn’t want it right now.”
But as Katie continues to drink, she boldly tries to flirt with not only Ryan, but two of her male friends as well – all in front of Josh.
One of Katie’s friends, Mark, had a private conversation with Josh and encouraged him to stand up to Katie’s unruly behavior.
Mark told him bluntly, “If you think in your head of what would happen if you were in my shoes, you’d be furious. You’d drag her out of the bar and say, ‘No, I’m leaving. We’re going to talk now.”
She added: “I know you’re trying to accept it, but it’s okay to be angry.”
After Josh tells him that it’s hard to tell if OCD is causing Katie’s behavior like this or if she’s acting “dramatic,” Mark tells him that he needs to stop at some point.
But it wasn’t until they returned to the bar that Katie became even more daring, with Mark having to aggressively push her face away to stop them from kissing.
“She’s touching my palm,” he told Josh as he cupped Katie’s face with his hand.
Josh finally said, “I’m done with this bull,” as Katie appeared to be drunk.
“This is not the right start for any kind of marriage that I want,” he told the cameras grimly. “You need to sit down with Katie and say you’re not going to marry her unless you’re sure she’s in the right place.”
