“One Battle After Another,” “F1” and “Pluribus” are among the films and TV shows nominated for the Location Managers Guild International Award.
The 13th Annual LMGI Awards will be held on August 22nd at the Eli and Edith Broad Stage in Santa Monica.
The LMGI Awards received a record number of entries from around the world, each uniquely demonstrating how they enrich the art of storytelling and filmmaking.
Paul Thomas Anderson shot the Best Picture-winning film in at least nine counties in California, Los Angeles North Studios and El Paso, Texas, while Joseph Kosinski had access to F1 racetracks and filmed “F1” between races. He shot in Silverstone, England, Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi.
At this event, Location Manager Mike Fantasia will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Fantasia has worked on nearly 40 feature films, including Top Gun: Maverick, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. The LMGI Humanitarian Award is given to the Environmental Media Association for promoting sustainable production across film and television.
Location Manager Nancy Hacker will chair the 2026 LMGI Awards Committee. Returning as producers for this year’s LMGI Awards are Honeysweet Creative’s IngleDodd Media and Erick Weiss.
