Timothée Chalamet tried to fly under the radar at Kylie Jenner’s Metaglass launch event. He wore a light gray hoodie and white baseball cap to support his girlfriend. The couple spent the past week together in New York.
Fresh off a weekend in the Hamptons, Kylie Jenner celebrated the launch of Meta glasses in New York City last night. Her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, also attended the event but tried to fly under the radar. He was wearing a light gray hoodie and a white baseball cap. Vanity Fair spotted him and noted that he was there, but it was “secret”, so the outfit couldn’t completely hide him.
Jenner and Chalamet have been together for the past week. Last Wednesday, they were photographed riding Citi Bikes in Manhattan. Over the weekend, he was photographed walking through Sag Harbor.
The pair rarely talk about their three-year relationship in interviews, with Jenner explaining to Elle in October 2024, “I think it’s important to keep things to yourself. Sometimes it’s hard to make decisions for yourself. So having the whole world’s opinion…that can be difficult.”
But this week, the beauty entrepreneur spoke positively about her meta-glasses. She shared how her style influenced their looks. “Right now, I want something that disappears into your look,” she said. “When I wear them, they blend with everything. Instead of competing with what I’m wearing, they complete it. People who know my style see this and think it’s natural. It feels exactly like where I am right now.”
She also talked about why she wants to partner with the company on smart glasses. “Glasses have always been my thing,” she said. “Honestly, these are the first things I notice when I look at someone. So when Meta came to me and told me that I could not only be part of the campaign, but actually design a pair, I was like, ‘Wait, this is different.'” I became involved in everything, from the shape to the color to the packaging to the little chime that makes the shoes when you put them on. ”
Her vocal message is also incorporated. “I recorded all these little lines,” she said. “When I put this on in the morning, it says, ‘Rise and Shine.’ It felt like something I could actually accomplish every day.”
