It’s the idea that matters.
Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift have told their wedding guests not to bring gifts to their upcoming weddings.
“They said no gifts,” George Kittle, a friend of the Kansas City Chiefs star, revealed in an interview with “Extra TV” on Tuesday.
But the San Francisco 49ers star, 32, said he was going to get Kelce a gift anyway.
“Travis likes old coins for some reason, so I thought I’d buy him some old coins,” Kittle said. “The price seems high, too.”
As for his “wishes” to the happy couple, Kittle told them, “Have lots of fun with all your friends.”
Page Six reached out to representatives for Swift and Kelsey, but did not immediately receive a response.
Kittle also talked about when the long-awaited wedding will take place.
The NFL star, who founded Tight End University with Kelce and Greg Olsen, said in an interview with People magazine that the “Bad Blood” singer’s appearance at the training summit was special given how “close” his wedding was.
“She’s such a wonderful person to be willing to give us her time at a time when the wedding is so close,” he told the outlet on Tuesday. “So we’re really grateful that they’re here.”
Swift and Kelsea, both 36, are scheduled to say “I do” on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“Everyone has been sworn to secrecy,” a source told us.
Karlie Kloss, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez are among the stars who have reportedly received invitations to the upcoming wedding.
The “Fortnite” singer and three-time Super Bowl champion originally planned an intimate wedding in Rhode Island this month.
However, we reported in November 2025 that we are considering scrapping the idea of welcoming more guests “in full force.”
Last weekend, Swift lived the single life in a $17.75 million mansion in Rhode Island.
Meanwhile, Kelsey gathered close friends in Los Angeles to celebrate her final days as a fiancé.
The tight end partied with friends at the Bird Street Club, a members-only restaurant and social club on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip.
He also attended a Chris Lake concert. At one point, Kelce jumped onto the stage next to Lake, 43, and fired a bubble gun into the audience as they grooved to the DJ’s tune.
