Los Angeles-based outdoor movie experience Cinespia will screen popular films such as “Practical Magic,” “The Mummy,” Mia Goth’s “X” and “Pearl” as part of its 25th anniversary lineup.
Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery is brought to you by Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. Additional screenings throughout August include “Coming to America” and the 40th anniversary screening of “Labyrinth.”
“The films we are showing this month have earned their place in the cultural conversation because they continue to resonate across generations,” said Cinespia founder John Wyatt. “Bringing these stories back to the big screen in a collaborative setting is central to what Cinespia has always been about.”
Attendees can enjoy lively sets from Cinespia’s signature DJs before and after each screening, as well as enjoy a complimentary photo booth, wine bar, and concessions throughout the night. Cinespia also partnered with See’s Candies to commemorate See’s Candies’ 25th and 105th anniversaries by selling specially branded candy boxes exclusively at Cinespia screenings.
Additional screenings for the 25th anniversary season will be announced at a later date.

Below is the announced lineup.
August 1st – “Practical Magic”
“Sisters are brewing their own version of a beloved, enchanting classic. ‘Hex’ spotlights sisters Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as witches unlucky in love whose tempestuous romance turns dangerous. And a hellish price must be paid to bring the dead back to life. Is the family a curse, or will a loving congregation break it? Also starring Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing as Dream’s enchanting aunt.
August 8 – “The Mummy” (1999)
“Can You Dig? The Mummy unearths hilarious adventures in the afterlife. A bookish librarian and a lovable bastard discover that secrets are best left buried. A great legend! Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz spark enough chemistry to raise the dead, creating not only a blockbuster classic, but the sexual awakening of an entire generation. One of the greatest adventures in film history. DJ, drinks, fellow Egyptology enthusiasts (and Egyptology enthusiasts), hey mom.”
August 15th Mia Goth double feature: “X” + “Pearl”
“It’s the summer of the goth girl, and we mean the summer of the mia goth girl. Our annual slumber party is back and getting glorious and bloody on the big screen in horror’s reigning scream queens ‘X’ and ‘Pearl.’ Part adult film fever dream, part Technicolor psychodrama, these cult favorites have you saying “Oh my god” in the best possible way. Invite your friends for the ultimate mayhem and merriment, including a blood-soaking dance party on the dance floor, photo ops, giveaways, and surprises. You are the star of the free photo booth. Just leave a rake at home and you’ll be fine. I have no intention of remaining on this farm! ”
August 22 – “Coming to America”
“Your Royal Highness, the picnic is ready. Eddie Murphy’s classic comedy offers a feast of romance, mistaken identity, and enough barbershop philosophy to fill a kingdom. African prince Akeem travels from palace to palace to Queens in search of the woman who will love him. Packed with laughs, soul gore, and regal charm, ‘Coming to America’ remains comedy royalty.”
August 29 – “Labyrinth”
“40th Anniversary! Follow the powerful Baby to Jim Henson’s wonderfully bizarre fantasy wonderland, where goblins sing, doors argue, and David Bowie’s Goblin King acts as enough glam-rock charisma to power an entire kingdom. When Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) wants her baby brother away, she must navigate a maze of riddles, pranks, and spectacular hair before the clock strikes 13.”
