Indie streamer Dropout has set 30 comedians to compete in the upcoming second season of its latest “Game Changer” spinoff “Crowd Control.”
Hosted by Jackie Neal and announcer Chioke Ianson, each episode of “Crowd Control” features a trio of comedians competing against each other in a battle of the best crowdwork without any pre-written material. Instead, comedians must develop improvisational sets based on given prompts and audience interaction. The same “crowd control” viewers can then choose the winner.
All 10 episodes of Dropout’s “Crowd Control” Season 2 Comedians participating in the show include Taylor Tomlinson, Tony Baker, Jeff Arcuri, Bob the Drag Queen, Drew Lynch, Gianmarco Solesi, Nicole Byer, Ron Funches, Aaron Branch, Sasheer Zamata, Amber Ruffin, Cameron Esposito, Emily Catalano, Reggie Watts, Christine Key, and Dulce. Sloan, Joel Kim Booster, Maria Bamford, Bobby Moynihan, Guy Branum, Roz Hernandez, Jordan Myrick, Demi Adejuyigbe, Dylan Adler, Grant O’Brien, Jackie Kassian, Debra DiGiovanni, Sabrina Jairies, Rafael Chestan, Joyel Nicole Johnson.
A premiere date for Season 2 of Crowd Control has not yet been set, but Dropout confirmed to Variety that it will air “later this summer.”
The “Crowd Control” Season 2 cast announcement was announced during the release of “Game Changers” Season 8, which Dropout began airing on May 18th. “Crowd Control” is the fourth Dropout spin-off series based on an episode of “Game Changers,” along with “Make Some Noise,” “Dirty Laundry” and “Play It By Year.”
The six-episode first season of Crowd Control began in September 2025.
