Comedian Nicole Arbor has slammed Jelly Roll and Bunny Zoe’s divorce as a publicity stunt, claiming the exes are preparing to “start something”.
“Jelly Roll and his wife are going to have a PR scandal,” Arbor, who released the song “Cosplay Christian” dissing the country singer, told the Post on Monday. “I think this is a divorce.”
“They start a huge scandal with the press, and then they get out of the press and come out with something,” she continued.
Arbor, 40, previously accused Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley Deford) and Bunny (real name Alisa Deford) of cheating over the years, alleging they “blackmailed, stalked, and plotted to kill” the 41-year-old Grammy winner.
In an Instagram series titled “The Jelly Roll Files,” the musician explained how he filed a police report against Jelly Roll on March 1, claiming that he had verbally assaulted him.
However, no charges were filed, the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department previously told TMZ, and insiders said Arbor’s claims were unsubstantiated.
However, Ms. Arbor told the Post that she and the “Somebody Save Me” singer allegedly tried to settle the criminal charges privately, but instead released her own song against Mr. Arbor.
“They sent me hush money deals,” she claimed. “I said, ‘Fuck you guys,’ and threw out ‘Cosplay Christian.'”
In this song, Arbor accused Jelly Roll of being a fake Christian who discovered God later in life.
Arbor claimed that his ongoing feud with the “Wild Ones” singer has caused friction in his marriage to Bunny, 46, and that Jelly Roll is facing financial difficulties following the allegations against him.
“I was told that one of his main sponsors left after seeing my video because they no longer wanted to work with him,” Arbor claimed.
“People on his team told me that he was starting to lose business with brands and that ticket sales would have plummeted if concerts were not canceled outright,” she also claimed. “They give away thousands of tickets to every show with Post Malone.”
A Jelly Roll spokesperson declined to comment on Arbor’s specific allegations when contacted by the Post. The representative instead noted that Arbor filed unsuccessful lawsuits in 2021 and 2022 accusing country rapper Ryan Upchurch of defamation and copyright infringement, both of which were later dismissed.
Nevertheless, Arbor denied any wrongdoing and claimed to be the victim of a years-long harassment campaign.
Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunny in May after 10 years of marriage.
The Dumb Blonde podcast host told listeners last week that she and the hitmaker were “ending their marriage on the best terms possible.”
Bunny, who has been open about going through a grueling IVF journey, added that they still plan on having a baby together, even though Jelly Roll is already dating another woman.
