Britney Spears announced in an Instagram post on Sunday, Father’s Day, that she wants to have another child. The 44-year-old pop star posted a video of herself dancing in a yellow slip dress and black boots while holding a small guitar. Spears risked a wardrobe malfunction while dancing, with one strap of her dress falling off as she gyrated in a fedora.
Spears also wore a black hand brace on her right arm and a fingerless glove on her left hand.
In the caption, Spears said she was hoping to have another baby.
“Today is an emotional day for me, the guitar reminds me of an alien baby, such a gentle stringed instrument, they say music is the speech of angels, I bought this in Mexico in hopes of having another baby someday 🇲🇽,” she wrote about the guitar she was holding.
In another video posted on Sunday, Spears showed off her dance moves again, but this time she wore a long, twirled black dress.
The “Toxic” singer is already a mother to two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
In April, a source said Spears was “doing much better” after spending less than a month in rehab after being arrested for drunk driving in March.
“She is healthy, happy, very positive and excited to start fresh. Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself,” a source told Us.
Another source said she will “continue counseling remotely.”
The Daily Mail reported that Spears’ sons intervened before she voluntarily entered a rehab facility.
“They were the only ones she listened to and they were very loving and very kind, but also very firm,” the source said.
Sources say Sean and Jaden threatened their relationship with their mother to ensure she entered rehab.
“It was like, ‘Mom, if you want us to come, we have to go,'” the source said. “That was all the motivation she needed.”
The source continued, “She wants a relationship with them, but it would have been in jeopardy if she didn’t go. So she did the right thing and says they seem happy with it.”
