Prince Archie hugged his father Prince Harry while wearing an England football T-shirt to celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday.
In a photo shared by Meghan on Instagram, her 7-year-old son was photographed hugging the Duke of Sussex alongside his 5-year-old sister Princess Lilibet.
“They are so lucky to have you 🥹,” the Duchess of Sussex captioned the photo. “We all are. Happy Father’s Day to the one and only.”
Prince Harry, 41, and Markle, 44, married in 2018 and welcomed their son the following year.
The couple raised Archie in the UK for over a year before leaving the royal family and emigrating to North America in January 2020.
The Sussexes welcomed Lilibet in June 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, and have been raising their children near Montecito ever since.
Prince Harry and Markle have remained estranged from the royal family since their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
In an explosive sit-in, Suits alums accused the royal family of racial bias and claimed they had concerns about the possibility of baby Archie’s skin color changing ahead of his birth.
Markle also claimed that her sister-in-law, Duchess Kate, made her cry when she saw a flower girl’s dress for her 2018 wedding.
However, Markle called Middleton a “good person” and explained that Middleton had apologized and sent flowers.
Despite the family feud, insiders told Page Six that the Azever founder and Prince Harry are preparing to bring their children to the UK in July.
The trip will be Prince Harry’s first trip across the pond since 2022, but it is unclear whether he will meet his father, Charles III or other members of the royal family.
Another source said the 77-year-old monarch was “diplomatic” and planned to meet Ms Markle in a private gathering without photographers.
Royal biographer Hugo Vickers said: “I’m sure he will meet his children.” “The King always leaves his door wide open and met Harry last September.”
“For the sake of both parties, it would be a good idea for Prince Harry to reconcile with his father in private. The King has made it clear that he doesn’t want his final years to be miserable, and Prince Harry has been through enough trauma that if they don’t reconcile and Charles dies, it will only cause more problems,” Vickers added, referring to Charles’ ongoing battle with cancer.
