As the unlikely pair continues to make headlines, Michelle Saniei gushes about her “natural” and “organic” relationship with Dr. Dre.
“He’s a great guy and we spend a lot of time together,” the “Valley” star said during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” on Wednesday.
“We met through mutual friends,” she continued. “It was very natural, very organic. It wasn’t even a set-up. We just happened to meet and hit it off.”
When I asked her what first drew her to the legendary rapper, she replied, “I just go with the flow. I love people who are so positive and full of energy. That’s him.”
Saniei said Dre has not yet met her ex-husband, Jesse Lally, or their daughter, nor has she watched “The Valley.”
“He’s a great guy. What can I say?” she said when host Andy Cohen asked her to elaborate on their relationship.
The two were spotted on a date at the celebrity spot Nobu in Los Angeles in April, sparking rumors that they were dating.
Photos obtained by Page Six at the time showed Saniei, 37, and Dre, 61, holding hands as they left the facility and were surrounded by security guards.
On Tuesday, Sanei finally acknowledged their relationship.
“We spend time together and we love each other’s company,” the Bravolebrity told People.
“For now, we’re keeping everything top secret. I’m just living my life.”
The mutual friend the reality star credits with starting their relationship appears to be her longtime friend Ashley Palmer Gilkey, the general manager of Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records.
She has worked at Aftermath Entertainment for 16 years, first as Dr. Dre’s executive assistant from 2010 to 2013 and then as GM from 2013 to present, according to her LinkedIn profile, which describes her role as “supporting Dr. Dre’s overall vision, mission, and authority.”
Shortly after their date night in April, a source told US Sun that the two are longtime friends and that Saniei had been with Dre for “months.” However, it is unclear when the relationship between the two became romantic.
Saniei and Larry finalized their divorce in October 2025 and have a 6-year-old daughter, Isabella.
As for the Beats By Dre co-founder, he agreed to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young $100 million and settled their divorce in December 2021.
The ex-girlfriend has two children, a son, Twiss, 28, and a daughter, Truly, 24.
Dre has eight children from previous relationships, six of whom are older than Saniei.
