Their love story started with a bracelet. And apparently, old habits die hard.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been wearing Cartier Love Unlimited bracelets a lot lately, and this week they each paired them with 18k gold versions of the romantic bauble.
Swift, 36, kicked off her shoes on Monday when she visited Electric Lady Studios in New York City. This is the famous studio where the “Oparite” singer recorded parts of “Midnight” and “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Kelsey, also 36, was in Los Angeles on the same day, filming a live episode of his brother Jason Kelsey’s podcast “New Heights” at the Orpheum Theater.
On Saturday, Kelce was photographed wearing his Cartier and signing autographs for fans outside of Progressive Field in Cleveland. There, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and new Cleveland Guardians minority owner was scheduled to throw out the first pitch before the game was postponed due to weather.
He also wore a gold bangle during his courtside date with Swift at the Cavaliers-Knicks Eastern Conference finals on May 23.
Swift has been accessorizing with her version ever since debuting it at a Chiefs game with Kelce in October. Since then, she’s worn it on dates with her fiancé and when out and about in New York alone.
Priced at $9,400, the Love Unlimited Bracelet is a flexible take on Cartier’s iconic Love bangle, made with approximately 200 miniature components in 18K gold and the original’s signature exposed screws.
Of course, bracelets have been a recurring theme in Swift and Kelce’s relationship from the beginning. Kelsea famously tried to give the pop star a friendship bracelet with her phone number on it during the 2023 Ellas Tour stop in Kansas City, but while things didn’t go as planned, she clearly succeeded in the end.
Once the couple went public, Swift also got into the news, wearing an “87” friendship bracelet at a Chiefs game and a beaded “Trav” style at a holiday party in Kansas City. Kelce continued to wear Swiftie-themed bracelets for everything from podcast recordings to her brother’s retirement press conference.
By early 2024, the couple had matching “TNT” diamond bracelets designed by Wove Made Inc. Jewelers.
What’s next? wedding ring.
