Fargo and Alien: Earth creator Noah Hawley’s production company 26 Keys has appointed industry veteran Mia Anmar to its strategic leadership role.
Anmar, who has worked extensively for Hollywood studios and major corporations, has been named executive vice president of marketing and public relations for Holly’s Shop. She will start Monday and report directly to Hawley and his co-founder and 26 Keys President Kyle Hawley.
“Mia brings an incredible blend of creative vision and corporate expertise that will be essential to our next chapter. Her ability to foster high-impact partnerships and connect with audiences will be instrumental in expanding 26 Keys’ brand identity and global reach,” the principals said. “As 26 Keys continues to expand its creative reach, Mia is the perfect leader to shape the story of our global brand and elevate our upcoming projects. We are thrilled to officially welcome her to the team.”
Mr. Anmar will oversee brand identity, global promotional partnerships and reputation management across Slate and other internal ventures, and will lead multiple audience teams. She joins 26 Keys from Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lillis, where she led the corporate entertainment division with clients including SMAC, Yorn Levine, and MRC. Previously, Anmar served as senior vice president of corporate communications at Paramount Pictures. She has also held leadership roles at Paradigm Talent Agency, Europa Corp, Relativity Studios, and Sony Pictures.
“I am very honored to join the great team of Noah, Kyle, and 26 Keys,” said Anmar. “From my experience representing the company externally, I know how extraordinary the company’s commitment to breakthrough storytelling and artistic excellence is. I look forward to stepping into my new role building a global marketing and PR strategy that protects, elevates, and expands the reach of these incredible brands.”
Anmar is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and serves on the board of the Live Like Brown Foundation. She initially plans to split her time between Los Angeles and Austin.
