Colin Firth’s ex-wife Livia Giujoli has slammed Gwyneth Paltrow’s “unacceptable” ad promoting a luxury property in an Israeli city 80 miles from the Gaza Strip.
In a recent Instagram video message, an activist asked viewers to “cancel” the Goop founder.
“She was scheduled to come to the farm in a few weeks for a soil-to-fork farm experience tour, but we simply canceled her because her behavior is completely unacceptable,” Giuggioli, 56, claimed.
Paltrow, 53, the founder of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards, has been accused of collaborating with Israeli real estate group Aviv Merithron to support allegations of “genocide” against Palestinians.
“There’s nothing more oppressive for a privileged person to create an ad for a luxury condo,” Giuggioli said.
“How disconnected are you from reality? Either you’re so disconnected that you have to cancel, or you live in a different world. Or you’re actually a really, really disgusting person,” she added.
“Or are you stupid? Gwyneth Paltrow, which of the three are you?”
Giuggioli, who was married to Firth from 1997 to 2019, concluded the video by stating that Firth would never visit her regenerative biomimic farm, Quinto Sapore.
She captioned the post, “I don’t like or approve of cancel culture, but in the case of @gwynethpaltrow it’s the least we can do.”
Paltrow did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Marty Supreme” star faced criticism after appearing to promote a 51-story luxury development in Herzliya, about 80 miles from the Gaza Strip, which has been ravaged by the war between Israel and Hamas.
The ad, shot in New York City, featured Paltrow complaining about early mornings as she prepared to leave her high-rise penthouse apartment for a run in Central Park.
“Who said mornings had to be this early?” she said, stretching and changing into her training set.
“My coffee needs coffee, too,” Paltrow joked.
The ad then showed Paltrow jogging through the iconic park as a voiceover continued.
“Waking up for a morning run can be brutal, but it’s a price I’m willing to pay because once I get to the park, pure energy takes over. It’s hard to explain,” she said.
The “Iron Man” star returned to his apartment, changed clothes and headed out for the day.
“There’s a reason the most iconic buildings in the world are located near parks,” she said, referring to 51 Park’s location adjacent to Herzliya and Galil Yam parks.
Paltrow walked to a waiting car and told the driver, “Please take me to 51 Park.”
“New York?” the driver asked, to which the lifestyle brand owner replied, “Herzliya, Israel.”
Then an image of two interconnected towers rising above the Herzliya skyline appeared on the screen.
Although Paltrow did not share the ad on her Instagram, fans slammed her in the comments section of her other posts.
“Gwynocide has resonance,” one user wrote.
“So sad but glad to see the real you coming out. I’ll probably never listen to your pod again…” another user added.
“The level of ice in the blood is amazing,” a third user commented.
Other fans posted GIFs calling for a “boycott” of Paltrow and all her businesses.
