Tom Hanks is trying to help Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story grow.
At the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, the Forrest Gump actor, who has been married to Rita Wilson for 38 years, shared some marriage advice for engaged couples ahead of their July wedding.
“The guy has to make waffles on Sunday,” Hanks told E! news.
At the red carpet event, Swift, who wore an off-the-shoulder, crystal-embellished Erdem dress, asked the 69-year-old “Cast Away” star and Tim Allen to autograph a copy of the 1995 “Toy Story” VHS she had brought with her.
Hanks told USA Today that he told the “Bad Blood” singer, “I wish I had brought my VHS machine and signed it so it could go into the Smithsonian.”
Page Six exclusively reported that Swift and Kelsey, both 36, are scheduled to wed in New York City on July 3.
We also exclusively reported that the long-awaited wedding will take place at Madison Square Garden.
“Everyone has been sworn to secrecy,” a source told us.
Officials added that guests will be transported to the venue by bus without power and will enter through the arena’s multiple entrances and highly secure infrastructure.
“For billions, they could turn the space into a wedding venue,” the source said.
Celebrity guests include Zoe Kravitz, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Ed Sheeran.
The “Blank Space” singer and three-time Super Bowl champion originally planned an intimate wedding in Rhode Island this month.
However, we reported in November 2025 that we are considering scrapping the idea of welcoming more guests “in full force.”
