The first two parts of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion turned out to be a ratings milestone for the popular reality series.
According to NBCUniversal, Part 1 of the reunion drew the largest live + same-day audience in the show’s history. In the first seven days of distribution, Part 1 drew 3.1 million viewers in multi-platform viewing, which was also the highest and a 43% increase from Season 10’s average of 2.2 million viewers per episode. Part 2 reached 2.6 million viewers across multiple platforms in its first three days of release.
On Peacock, Part 1 of the reunion ranks as the No. 1 episode of all time in first-day ratings for an NBCU next-day series.
Part 3 of the reunion will air on June 9th at 8pm. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes will be available the next day on Peacock.
Interest in the “Summer House” reunion episode skyrocketed after scandal broke among the cast earlier this spring. Gossip sites such as DeuxMoi began speculating that castmates West Wilson and Amanda Batula were secretly dating, but this development was controversial for several reasons.
That includes Batula’s recent split from her husband of four years, fellow Summerhouse star Kyle Cooke, who announced their divorce in January, just weeks before the show premiered in February. Batula is also close friends with Wilson’s former castmate Ciara Miller, and they have a troubled on-again, off-again relationship that (as Batula is well aware of) torments Miller.
In a post on March 31st, Wilson and Batula admitted that they were looking for some kind of…something in a joint announcement that greatly confused and outraged the Bravo sphere. The reunion, taped on April 23 and hosted by Andy Cohen, marks the first time the entire cast has met together in public. Batula and Wilson appear to still be together, but are facing a firing squad led by Miller, Cook, and their ally Lindsay Hubbard.
In Part 2, Batula can no longer be hacked and takes a long break. But things are about to get even worse for the new couple in Part 3 of the reunion episode.
