Taylor Swift was the guest of honor at the world premiere of Toy Story 5 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, wearing an off-the-shoulder crystal-embellished Erdem dress.
From designer Erdem Moralioglu’s fall 2026 collection, the songwriter’s patchwork mini features a corseted bodice, pannier skirt, romantic knots on the arms and raw hemline.
In addition to her signature red lip, Swift completed her premiere look with single-loop side braids and a necklace suspended with a diamond horseshoe pendant. This is definitely a nod to Jessie the cowgirl from “Toy Story.”
The 14-time Grammy winner contributed new original music to Pixar’s sequel, “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
The song, billed by Disney as a “return to Taylor Swift’s country roots,” was inspired by Jesse’s journey in the film series and was co-written and co-produced with Swift’s longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.
“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jesse was a new challenge and at the same time felt like second nature,” Swift wrote on Instagram on June 5, the song’s release date.
“[Antonoff and I]wrote this piece out of a deep love for these characters. They made us laugh, taught us lessons throughout our childhoods, and helped us think outside our backyard.”
The “Cruel Summer” songstress even seemed to be teasing a new era of country-inspired style to the sounds of her latest project, posing for promotional photos in rustic wide-leg pants, an embroidered patchwork jacket, and the curly hairstyle that has become so closely associated with her 2006 debut album.
The floral sundress she wore in another snap announcing “I Knew It, I Knew You” even reminded many fans of Swift’s relaxed look in the “Tim McGraw” single artwork.
Could ‘Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version)’ be the superstar’s next music release? One thing’s for sure: she’s already dressed for the role.
