Shortly after the couple tied the knot at City Hall, a source exclusively told Page Six that the couple was planning an even bigger celebration in Sicily, Italy. This upset some local residents who organized protests against the closure of the city for a celebrity wedding.
“The actual wedding weekend will take place from June 5th to 7th at Villa Valguarnera in Bagheria, Sicily, near Palermo, Italy. It will be a huge and ultra-luxurious event,” a source said.
“They booked a hotel so all of their guests could stay together, celebrate in private, and enjoy the weekend.”
The source also noted that the Italian wedding is expected to be a star-studded affair, with Elton John’s name being floated as a potential performer.
The Barbie actress, who has remained fairly quiet about her romance with Turner, confirmed her engagement in June 2025 after months of engagement speculation in a British Vogue cover interview.
The two first became romantically involved in early 2024, making the announcement public at an Apple TV+ afterparty in January.
