Gayle King portrays Tom Brady’s romance.
The “CBS Morning” co-host spoke passionately about the retired athlete during a Thursday interview with “Office Romance” co-stars Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.
The 71-year-old journalist brought up Mr. Brady, 48, when he wrote that Mr. Goldstein was “writing[the movie]” for King.
“Do I fall in love with Tom Brady? No, does he fall in love with me?” she asked. “You are very good at expressing yourself.”
In particular, we hear that Goldstein wrote “Office Romance” with Lopez in mind and that they had a secret affair during filming.
King added that he feels the Super Bowl winner is “one of the greatest people.”
Elsewhere in the interview, when King teased the “Ted Lasso” star’s “future plans” with Lopez, Goldstein again dropped the former quarterback’s name.
King said, “I love their chemistry on and off camera. If something comes to fruition, I’d love to be a part of birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings. Just letting it out.”
“Please invite us to Tom and Gail’s wedding,” the actor quipped.
The Daytime Emmy nominee jokingly asked Goldstein to “please let (Brady) know” because he “doesn’t know” about her crush.
Brady’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
King’s comments came a week after she appeared on Alex Cooper’s podcast “Call Her Daddy” and poked fun at her crush on the former NFL player.
While dropping Brady’s name, she spoke of her desire to date someone “younger.”
Dr. King declared, “(I don’t want someone I can give birth to), but someone younger, like Tom Brady.”
“I just saw Tom Brady and had to stop myself from saying, ‘You look so good,'” she continued.
“He’s also a great guy. Tom will understand your sense of humor.”
Elsewhere in the May episode, Dr. King revealed that her ex-husband, William Bumpass, had an affair with a friend while they were married.
She has not publicly dated anyone since her divorce in 1993.
Brady split from Gisele Bündchen in 2022 after more than 10 years of marriage, and has since been linked to celebrities including model Irina Shayk and influencer Alix Earle.
