Amanda Batula filmed a new confessional for “In the City,” where she opened up about West Wilson’s “bizarre” lunch date with Ciara Miller.
In a scene from Tuesday’s episode of the spinoff drama “Summer House,” which was filmed last fall, Batula meets with the couple to tell them that she and her then-husband, Kyle Cooke, will be moving out of the apartment in a few months.
In Batula’s first confessional, she spoke passionately about her friendships with Wilson, 31, and Miller, 30.
“Ciara has obviously been my best friend for the last few years,” she said of her former friend. “I’m in love with that woman.”
As for Wilson, Batula, 34, said her current boyfriend became a “really good friend” of hers last summer and “were together” during her drama with Cook, 43.
Batula also claimed that Miller and Wilson, who dated for several months in 2023, were “best friends again.”
“So now I have the perfect little trio,” she declared.
The show then dramatically cut to a new confession filmed on May 5, five weeks after Batula and Wilson admitted to their secret romance.
In a new confessional, off-camera producers asked Batula about her current thoughts on filming that scene with her co-star and whether she was “in love” with Wilson at the time.
“No, this is my friend,” Batula replied immediately.
“I know exactly what people are going to think when they see this scene,” the Bravo star continued. “It’s strange, but in this moment, they’re my friends.”
She called Wilson and Miller “two very important people to me who helped me get through this very strange time in my life and my relationship with Kyle,” adding that she felt “so happy” filming the scene.
The episode returns to the trio’s lunch date, ending with Miller telling Batula that he “always has my back”.
Batula and Wilson shocked the Bravo world on March 31st when they confirmed their relationship in a bombshell.
More than three weeks later, the “Summerhouse” cast filmed a three-part season 10 reunion. In the first two parts, which have already aired, Miller lashed out at Batula and Wilson, sharing private text messages to expose their betrayal.
Meanwhile, Batula claimed she couldn’t control her feelings for Wilson, and accused Miller of calling him a “snake in the grass.”
